sculptor reghnathan lives and works in a studio space provided by kashi gallery in kakkathuruth island in cochin. the video was shot in canon sx100 digital camera while sitting beside him, in the canoe boat. the conversation in the background is reghnathan speaking to fishing villagers about the elephant which swam into the island. this is for the first time in the history of kakkthuruth island that an elephant has come to the island. there is no way, an elephant can land in the island, unless it swims. the elephant had come for the temple festival in the mainland. now, there is no way the elephant can be brought back to the mainland. elephant is not willing to swim again.
